Design Features
- No two edges on this island line up the same way. The marble folds and dips in a shape that looks carved rather than cut, sitting on top of a base that's been finished to look almost like scarred bronze, rough and pitted instead of polished smooth.
- Nothing about the lighting overhead follows a pattern. Clear glass pieces bunch together at different drop heights, and honestly from underneath it doesn't read as installed fixtures so much as something that just formed there on its own.
- Thin vertical grooves run across one wall in a deep coffee brown finish, and the way sunlight hits those grooves actually changes throughout the day, never quite landing the same way twice.
- Behind the counter there's a small dining spot half hidden by sheer curtain fabric, close enough that you can go from cooking to sitting down in a few steps, no door or wall breaking up the flow.
- One tall brushed gold faucet stands at the island sink, and it ends up doing a lot of work visually, it's really the only hard metallic edge in a room that's otherwise all rounded stone and soft curves.
