Design Features:
- Overhead, two drum-shaped fixtures hang in sequence, crystal threads trailing down beneath each one, part sculpture, part light source. Sunk into round cutouts in the ceiling, the glow gathers directly below rather than fanning out across the whole room.
- Bronze covers the far wall floor to ceiling, hammered by hand so no two inches catch light quite the same way. Every sofa in the room faces it. Nothing else here even tries to compete.
- Seating wraps into a U across three sides, brown velvet next to ivory, zebra-print cushions dropped in without any real pattern to them. Keeps a room this formal, this large, from settling into something too matched or uniform.
- Bronze horse sculptures stand tall on either side, set against carved wooden panels behind them. Height in the corners, a bit of drama too, balancing out that strong vertical pull from the bronze wall at centre.
- Round bronze coffee tables sit low, their dark finish standing sharp against the pale patterned rug underneath. Marble runs along the room's edges as well, holding up well under daily use and staying cool through Dubai's hotter months.
