Design Features:
- Calligraphy sits at the centre of the arch. Nothing tucked into a corner. Nothing added as an afterthought. Two lines of script, one stacked above the other, both wrapped in the same gold edge lighting the niche. It's the first thing you read walking in. Literally.
- The cabinet base runs the full width of the wall below it. Fretwork panels front it, backlit from behind. The pattern glows instead of going flat. Ornament doing a job, not just sitting there. Harder to pull off than most people think. This one manages it.
- Open shelving wraps the corner. Books, a single ceramic vase, a bonsai sitting lower down. Nothing here looks staged for a photo. It's a shelf someone actually reaches for.
- Marble runs across the seating ledge and the floor. Stone stays cool, the arch light stays warm, and that clash is basically doing the room's job on its own.
- A woven prayer rug with a mihrab-shaped border anchors the floor. Green picks up gold. Gold picks up the framed calligraphy on the side wall. Nothing here landed by accident.
