Design Features:
- The fabric sculpture over the bed is copper and dusty rose with layered folds that twist up a bit like wings. Tucked into the recessed ceiling above it are tiny pinpoint lights. There's no chandelier here at all and the room doesn't feel like it's missing one.
- The wall behind the bed is painted edge to edge in coral and turquoise colour you can see the brushwork. Run a hand over it and it's rough which is why it has so much more depth than a printed mural would.
- The headboard is champagne-coloured and upholstered, wide and tall with simple panels. It stays quiet on purpose, leaving the mural and ceiling to do the talking.
- Slim brass lamps sit on both sides of the bed. Their warm light tones down the strong colours a bit, especially all that cool turquoise.
- A couple of blue velvet cushions with a gold monogram lean against the pillows. Small detail but it makes a room this bold feel a little more personal.
