Design Features:
- Your eye goes straight up first. That cluster of gold pendant rings hanging out of the cove ceiling, hexagons piled on hexagons, doesn't really behave like lighting anymore. Feels more like something somebody commissioned and hung there on purpose.
- Dark timber shelving climbs floor to ceiling on both sides of a mirrored panel wall, packed with real books, a few framed prints tossed in. Nobody set this up for a photoshoot. It just looks like a room someone's actually spent time in.
- Sheer curtains, white mixed with taupe, run the full height of the window and take the harshness off all that marble and dark wood without shutting the daylight out completely. Given how brutal the sun gets here for most of the year, that's not really about looks first, it's about function.
- There's a slim glass panel with barely there black framing sitting behind the desk. Splits the work zone from the lounge seating, sure, but you can still see clean through to the cactus and the pendant lights past it.
- Cream leather sofas next to darker swivel chairs, stone side tables scattered around. Keeps things from tipping too far corporate, or too cold either. Closer to a study than a boardroom, honestly, if someone made you pick one.
