Design Features:
- Three photos over the desk, same grey frame, same black and white treatment, all city landmarks. Nothing more to it than that. And somehow leaving out colour entirely is what makes the wall feel put together instead of just decorated.
- Glass wall on the right, cut at an angle instead of running straight up. Water outside, sure, that view sells itself. But it's the diagonal line slicing through the ceiling and down to the floor that stops this room from reading as one more square box with a nice window.
- Three cream leather chairs, dark stone desk, and the whole cluster is dragged closer to the glass than the back wall. Small call, but it means whoever sits at that desk is looking at water, not a blank corner nobody thought to fill.
- Tucked between two chairs, a little hourglass table, charcoal body, a brass band around its middle. Somewhere to rest a cup, mostly, though it also stops that gap between the chairs from just sitting there empty and unfinished.
- Warm wood underfoot, running the length of the room. Everything else here, the stone, the glass, the pale textured wall, sits cool. The floor's the one thing warming the space up, which matters in Dubai towers where glass and stone piled together can tip cold fast without wood somewhere to pull it back.
