Design Features:
- Two pendants hang low above the desks, shaped like clusters of white porcelain leaves scattered with no set pattern. Not your usual downlight setup, and they take the harsh edge off a room that's otherwise all straight lines and hard surface.
- Blush pink chairs sit at both desks, and against the wood panelling and dark blinds around them, that colour doesn't feel random. Looks chosen, deliberate. Small thing, but it stops two facing workstations from reading too stiff or corporate.
- Behind the desks the wall bows out just slightly, ribbed timber running vertical from floor to ceiling. Light hits it differently depending on where you're standing, and that little curve does more work than a flat panel ever could here.
- Black slatted blinds run the length of the room, covering the glazing top to bottom, cutting daylight into thin stripes that fall across the wood floor. Honestly, that striping sets the room's mood more than any single piece of furniture in it does.
- A tall olive tree stands beside the desks, bridging the gap between the wood wall and a glass partition close by, with a smaller planter near the window on the other side keeping things from feeling lopsided.
