Design Features:
- A large mashrabiya lattice screen splits the prayer corner from the bedroom entirely, no door needed. The dense wooden pattern lets in just enough light and sightline that the space still feels connected, without the prayer area sitting fully open to the bed.
- "Allah" sits carved above a plain arched niche. A circular calligraphy medallion mounts inside it, right at eye level. No extra ornament crowding either piece. The arch and the medallions carry all the visual weight on their own.
- A wooden cabinet sits directly beneath the arch. Fluted panelling runs across the lower half, books stack along the top edge. Reads as storage that gets used, not something kept purely for display.
- Two small carved side tables flank the cabinet, darker inlay standing out against the lighter wood surrounding them. Deliberately modest in scale, low enough to stay clear once someone's kneeling on the rug.
- Exposed wood ceiling beams run overhead, paired with a single hanging brass lantern near the mashrabiya screen. Below it, a worn, layered rug repeats those same warm taupe tones from the wood. The whole corner ends up reading as one material story instead of separate finishes stacked on top of each other.
