Design Features:
- Two chandeliers hang at different heights near the entry. Brass frames, cut crystal, catching the recessed light around them. Neither sits over the prayer rugs. They light the walk-in, not the prayer space itself.
- The word "Allah" rises above the mihrab-shaped arch, raised gold script. Backlit, so the whole recess glows, not just the letters. No secondary inscription anywhere else on the wall. One statement left alone.
- A built-in cabinet runs floor to ceiling beside the arch. Glass-fronted sections hold worn spines stacked at slightly different heights. Closed cabinetry above and below turns the whole thing into one curated band instead of open storage.
- Two prayer rugs sit layered on the carpet instead of one large mat. Plain cream underneath, was dark and patterned on top. Angled slightly, not squared off against the wall.
- A tall potted plant stands beside the arch. The only organic shape in a room built almost entirely from straight lines and right angles. It softens the space where the white wall meets the glass window beside it.
