Design Features

  • Flowers and branches are shaped right into the ivory plaster on one wall panel. No paint is used on it. The raised pattern does all the work and the room still feels soft and quiet.
  • Mouldings in a classic style trim the walls with a deep cornice along the top edge. The inner opening has a gold fluted pilaster on each side. These two columns divide the styling chair from the seat by the window.
  • A mirror in a moulded frame fills almost a whole side wall from floor to ceiling. Window light bounces off it into the rest of the room. A small salon looks a lot roomier this way.
  • The styling chair is white leather with gold arms. A hood dryer on wheels stands right beside it. Cutting, colouring and drying can be done without the client changing seats. Underfoot the tiles are porcelain made to look like wood and laid in a herringbone pattern.
  • A teal velvet armchair with a small gold table sits by the window. It’s a comfortable place to wait for an appointment. Thin sheer curtains hang behind thicker olive gold drapes. The light that gets through is soft and gives the ivory walls a warm look.

FAQs

Why do many ladies salons in Dubai offer private rooms?

Yes. A lot of clients in the UAE feel more at ease in a closed room where they can uncover their hair. A private suite with one chair offers this comfort in a small space. It’s a practical choice in small salon interior design.

Is herringbone flooring suitable for a salon?

Yes when it’s wood look porcelain instead of solid timber. Porcelain handles water and hair dye much better than real wood. A matte tile with good grip keeps the styling area safe underfoot.

Is a plaster relief wall hard to keep clean?

Yes, wiping with a damp soft cloth is enough. Dust and hairspray slowly settle into the deeper parts of the carving. A soft brush can help clean those areas.

Can a hood dryer be used in a small salon room?

Yes if the room has its own power point and good airflow. Hood dryers use steady power and give off heat. A commercial interior design team plans the wiring and ventilation to suit this equipment.

What makes a small luxury salon in Dubai more expensive?

Handmade plaster art and detailed mouldings add to the bill. Patterned flooring costs more than plain tiles too. An interior cost calculator helps compare these options before finalising the design.
